The BB-9 model Joss Cue® features high figure Curly Maple with a nutmeg stain and a matching hand-select figured maple wrap. Among the many features of the Joss 10-02 BB-9 is a high figure curly maple from Canada. The wood pattern ripples to create a three-dimensional effect. Curly is also known as fiddle-back because of its use in violins. Polished stainless steel joints to a mirror finish.
All of curly maple lumber goes through a selection process that involves grading the density and quality of grain. The rear on this cue has an old-style Hoppe butt plate.
